Pivate to the admiral: [

Willow's a little fidgety about asking the admiral for anything; for the last month, she's been mostly feeding Madame Smudge little scraps from the meals - but the kitty is fast growing up, and it's not going to be enough.

So, with some trepidation, she uses her com to ask: I... need food; Just... for the kitten? Enough for every day.

Spam for the hallways, and whoever wants it:

[Willow's pretty much just wandering at this point, trying to calm her nerves over actually having asked for something; Madame Smudge - currently splayed held in her arms, head splayed across her breasts - certainly looks satisfied enough, though; and that's some small comfort.

Still, it's not quite enough - and she hopes a walk will calm her down.]

[He made a slight wssping noise at the kitten, wiggled his fingers at it, and drew them back.] Are you feeling better?

[The kitty bats at his fingers, appearing to accept him with ease.] A little; Claudia came back.

[How does Data express pleasure? Oh yes, he doesn't. He's almost glad he's been pinpointed before as his brother, it keeps him from infinite boredom at pretending to be him at length.] You have taken the news in a way that makes you visibly more energetic.

[He thinks? Oh he hates everything. She seems so fun and he has to be so boring.] Tell me about yourself, Willow.

Me? [She smiles, looking somewhat... not quite shy, but a little self conscious.] Not much to tell; honest.

[Well, other than that she's a formerly-murderous vampire with a taste for blood and a newly acquired soul, but...]

[It's at this point that he knows that can't be accurate, and... well, maybe with a little give and take.]

If I told you something, could you keep it secret? It's very important.

[She hesitates half a moment, and then... nods; firmly. She can keep a secret.]

[He smiles sharply, gold eyes focusing mechanically.] I can smile. Don't tell anybody. I want it to be a surprise.

Why? Doesn't it just mean you're happy? [She likes it when people smile.]

The person I'm pretending to be can't. He won't use contractions. He's awkward and stiff and I could really, really use a break.

So, if you'll keep my little secret, I'll go ahead and tell you that I bet there's all kinds of interesting things about you.

Pr... You really think? [She doesn't mind keeping a secret, so long as he's not out about hurting people.]

[He isn't right now. But one day? Very possibly. He tends to like to get rid of threats before they can come for him.] Absolutely. I promise, hand over my artificial heart [He does this.], I won't be bored.

...If you say. [That's a secret he'd be best off not sharing - right now she sees no harm in it.]

[It's a secret he never shares if he can help it.] And it seems like when we're stuck here for the time being. Why not have a story to tell?

...I'm a vampire. [Which is one of the several ways she can tell he's not anything living - at least in the biological sense.]

Where I'm from? There are none of those. And I feel like I've missed out. [He cants his head at her.]

Not really... they're not nice.
