OOC PREFERENCES:
•CONTACT METHOD: PM is good - but feel free to say hi on AIM or plurk. (I'm dragon8writer on both. :) )
•THREAD-JACKING: Feel free!
•FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: Yep! So long as you're prepared for her response - which could range from fascinated to furious depending on what you reveal.
•BACKTAGGING: Feel free!
•AVOIDED TOPICS: None at the moment, :)
IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Red haired, with hazel eyes, she stands at about 5'5. Her skin is pale, and her hand is cold - the latter do in large part to the fact that she is undead, although her skin was always rather pale.
She will often talk with a childish tone, a little high pitched, and often with a wine or a purr to show her feelings. She will drop this, occasionally, if she actually grows serious.
She enjoys wearing dark clothes, and long dresses - leather is good; she wants to be seen as the dominatrix in control. (Although this may shift as she spends time on the barge.)
When she shows her true face, her brow will have ridges, her eyes will be yellow, and she will grow fangs.
•DEMEANOR: Willow tends to carry herself in a mixture between seductive and playful. She likes showing off - straddling victims and the like - but you're as likely to see her skipping as posing, trying to show off her care free responsibility-free lifestyle - or sulking, leaning against the ships walls and complaining that she's bored.
•ABILITIES: Increased strength, agility, speed, and endurance – equaling a grown man who’s fit. (She can bench press about 250 pounds, run a 7 minute mile, and dodge or take the majority of punches without bruising – though she lacks the supernatural abilities she once had.)
Increased senses – perfect vision, hearing, taste, and smell – but again, nothing supernatural.
Intelligence – Willow had the best academic record in sunny dale high, and was an accomplished computer hacker during her life time, though she has shown little interest as a vampire.
Speedy healing: Willow can heal about twice as fast as a normal human. She is capable of healing any wound – though limbs must be surgically reattached in order to take.
Immortality – unless beheaded, staked through the heart with wood, or burned/exposed to sunlight, Willow will not die (although she can be hurt like a normal human.)
She does not require breath, although she does require blood flowing to the brain to remain conscious. (This is accomplished without a heartbeat, but the veins can be blocked, as Spike once did to Drusilla.)
Immunity to mind reading: It takes an extremely powerful telepath to read a vampire’s thoughts. Descriptions indicate it’s less an inbuilt immunity, and more the fact that a vampire’s brain, like the rest of it, is technically dead – as Angel describes it, the thoughts are still there but (like with mirrors) there is nothing to be reflected.
Turning: By feeding on a human to the point of death, and then giving them blood, Willow can turn a vampire – although this is currently difficult for her to do, considering she lacks the strength to force the issue in most cases.
Vampiric face: Willow can shift to a vampiric face, either to show aggression or to feed from a human by growing her fangs. In this case, her forehead crease, creating bumpy ridges, and her eyes turn yellow.
Fighting ability: Willow maintains a superior fighting ability, gained from working alongside the Master, although her former strength will occasionally lead her to overestimate her abilities.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: Willow heals faster than a normal human - about twice as a fast as a normal human, and with far less limitations (Limbs need to be reattatched, but a charred vampire can regrow flesh and hair, for example.)
She is immune to a disease
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Discussion of the "mainstream" verse of Buffy - Willow's universe was created by a wish from Cordelia that prevented her from ever meeting Buffy. Hearing about her other self's wonderful life has as much chance of angering her as intriguing her.
IC PERMISSIONS:
•MENTAL: Yes, but mentally reading a vampire is difficult - canonically (as discussed in Angel: After the fall), you require a very strong ability to reliably read a vampire's mind. (This may be due to their being dead. As Angel puts it: "It's like the mirror. The thoughts are there, but they create no reflection within you."
•MIMICRY: Sure.
•VIOLENCE: Feel free - but keep in mind that Willow is likely to just walk away with a pout if she thinks she can't win.
•MAGIC: Sure.
•DEBATE: They can try, but Willow is unlikely to participate if she grows bored.
•OTHER / NOTES: Vampires are weak to wood through the heart and beheading; they can also be hurt by crosses, garlic, holy water, and sunlight - the last of which can kill them. Although not generally listed among their weaknesses, vampires can be burned to death.
Although some vampires can hypnotize humans, Willow never showed this ability; it is uncertain whether it's possible for all, or only those with other supernatural connections like Drusilla (although it's worth noting that Angel and Spike said only that they "never got the hang of it.")
Vampires are drawn to bright colors; they do not show up in mirrors or other reflective surfaces (they do show up on cameras, and videos.)
