Willow's a little fidgety about asking the admiral for anything; for the last month, she's been mostly feeding Madame Smudge little scraps from the meals - but the kitty is fast growing up, and it's not going to be enough.

So, with some trepidation, she uses her com to ask: I... need food; Just... for the kitten? Enough for every day.
 

Spam for the hallways, and whoever wants it:

[Willow's pretty much just wandering at this point, trying to calm her nerves over actually having asked for something; Madame Smudge - currently splayed held in her arms, head splayed across her breasts - certainly looks satisfied enough, though; and that's some small comfort.

Still, it's not quite enough - and she hopes a walk will calm her down.]

[Raistlin was in the common room, reading a book. Rabbit, his rabbit, was dancing around on the floor in front of him as he kept an idle eye on her, making sure she didn't stray too far. Though he kept a casual look of disinterest, the disinterest couldn't be entirely real seeing as he, on noticing Rabbit's rambunctious mood, decided to give her somewhere a little more spacious to hop about. When he noticed Willow enter the room holding a cat, his attention was drawn a little bit more toward her.]

[Considering their last meetings, Willow's a little cautious about seeing him; still, the rabbit draws an immediate reaction - a little 'aww' sound that has Madame Smudge tapping her head in disapproval. Vampire's were supposed to be paying attention to her..]

[The 'aww' sound makes Raistlin's eyes narrow slightly. Rabbit was his, after all, and by extention wasn't 'cute'.]

Did you need something?

[The rabbit was very cute; and by extension... so was Raistlin? Was that how this worked?]

No. Not... not really.

[Raistlin hopes not.]

Then why are you paying such close attention to what Rabbit does?

[No, she's pretty sure that's how it works; it's been going that way with puppies for decades. Maybe centuries.]

It's cute.

I assure you, she's not doing anything to be cute.

"Doesn't have to," she promised. "She just... is."

[hourglass_twin]

"You are aware that she belongs to an evil, malicious and dangerous mage, correct?" Which, he thought, should mitigate her cuteness.

"She is?" No; she's still cute; adorable even. But she's surprised by that.

[hourglass_twin]

"The correct phrasing would be 'she does', and the answer is 'yes'."

[unweeping_willow]

"She's cute." Willow's not backing down on that.

[hourglass_twin]

"Perhaps," he acquiesced. However, he decided, owning a cute creature did not reflect on him in any way. After all, he also owned bat guano and insect carcasses.

"You don't think so?" Unless he started wearing it, it was going to be outshined by the rabbit.

"I don't think so." And with that, he picked Rabbit up and put her into his lap, starting to pet her. "She's charming. Not 'cute'."

"Think charming has to be on purpose."

[hourglass_twin]

"All the same, I don't find her cute."

[unweeping_willow]

"Don't know why not..." It had ears. And a twitchy nose. Unless you were a demon named Anya, it was the very definition of adorable.

"I don't tend to see things as 'cute'. Regardless, I see her as I see all things."

[unweeping_willow]

"So how do you see her?" How does he see all things?

[hourglass_twin]

"I see her as she will be as she ages, and I see her as she will appear as she dies, and as she decays as the years progress."

[unweeping_willow]

"Sounds sorta sad. Do you see everyone that way?"

[hourglass_twin]

"Most everyone...but not you. You I see the hint of lines of your inner monster, over an unaging face. There is little change to see."

[unweeping_willow]

She touched at her face, surprised - uncertain what to make of it; nodding after a quiet moment. "How do you deal with it?

I simply tolerate it. What other choice do I have?
